The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) has researched the Community Work Programme (CWP) since 2010. In 2016, the CSVR entered into a partnership with the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) which aimed to train, support and strengthen CWP participants' ability to prevent violence through the work that they carried out in the programme. This report provides some of CSVR's key reflections from this partnership.
